    A native of Denham Springs, Louisiana, he is married to Melynda R. Smith with six children. He and his family are active members of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Livingston. Dr. Smith and his wife are extremely active in getting youth and young adults in touch with Christ. Dr. & Mrs. Smith, along with their family and many pets, are proud to call Denham Springs their home.

    Larry McCaskill, DVM, CVA

    Dr. McCaskill grew up in Central, Louisiana. He is married to Mrs. Lucille "Lu" McCaskill with two children and three grandchildren. They presently reside in New Roads, Louisiana. He has been a veterinarian for nearly 30 years originally practicing in New Roads, Louisiana. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. McCaskill was a USAF fighter pilot and a combat veteran of both Vietnam and Gulf War I. His flying career spanned for 40 years, when he retired from United Airlines flying a 747-400. Dr. McCaskill became certified in veterinary acupunture and is a leading specialist. He has given many lectures on animal acupuncture and eastern medicine, including lectures in China.

    Melynda R. Smith, Management

    A native of Denham Springs, Louisiana, she is married to Dr. Scott F. Smith with six children and has been blessed with many more children that God has placed in her life and call her "Momma M." She and her family are long-standing members of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs.Smith and her husband are extremely active in getting youth and young adults in touch with Christ. Her family is complete with four dogs, a cat, a water dragon, and six horses. Prior to working at Dodge City Veterinary Hospital, Mrs. Smith spent 12 years in the legal field.
  • Lindsey A. McWhorter, DVM

    Dr. McWhorter was born and raised in Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She married David, a New Orleans native, in May 2006 and moved to Louisiana shortly after. They currently live in Denham Springs with their 8 dogs, 5 snakes, and 1 tarantula. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2014 and joined the Dodge City family a year later. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to visit friends and family including her parents and sister who still reside in Oklahoma.
